Hi! My name is Ruth Christian and I am the director/creator of Bridge of Hope Ministry (BOHM) and the author of the book Love Flowed Down… It Was For Me.  I am so glad you have decided to visit this website!

The purpose of BOHM is really three-fold:

  • To equip Christians for person-to-person ministry to those in their life who identify as homosexual, helping them to find liberation from homosexuality through Christ.
  • To encourage and equip churches to be a place for this healing process to take place through discipleship and fellowship.
  • To bring hope to those struggling with same-sex feelings that they can be healed and freed to grow into the person God intended them to be (if they will surrender, trust and obey Him).

As I spend time in churches and listening to the heart of believers at retreats, conferences, etc., I find over and over the following to be true.  There is great need for ministry in this area.  It’s our prayer you will find the BOHM Internet Ministry very helpful.  So please check it all out!  And come back often.

I am available to speak* at your church sharing my testimony, answering questions and/or sharing how personal soul care ministry is needed and can be accomplished through churches and individuals. And when given the opportunity, I am also passionate about encouraging women in their walk with the Lord, through speaking at women’s ministry events: teas, luncheons, conferences, retreats, etc.

Please know, this is the ministry’s prayer for you: that “… the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”  (Romans 15:13 NKJV)  And, then, PLEASE share this hope with others!

*There is no set fee for speaking.  Covering travel expenses and/or a free will offering or honorarium as the Lord leads, is helpful to the ministry. This ministry is an outreach of Calvary Chapel of Appleton, Wisconsin, my home church.
