Hi! My name is Ruth Christian and I am the Executive Director of Bridge of Hope Ministry (BOHM) and the author of the book Love Flowed Down… It Was For Me. I am so glad you have decided to visit this website!
The purpose of BOHM is really three-fold:
- To equip Christians for person-to-person ministry to those in their life who identify as homosexual, helping them to find liberation from homosexuality through Christ.
- To encourage and equip churches to be a place for this healing process to take place through discipleship and fellowship.
- To bring hope to those struggling with same-sex feelings that they can be healed and freed to grow into the person God intended them to be (if they will surrender, trust and obey Him).
As I spend time in churches and listening to the heart of believers at retreats, conferences, etc., I find over and over the following to be true. There is a great need for ministry in this area. It’s our prayer you will find the BOHM Internet Ministry very helpful. So please check it all out! And come back often.
I am available to speak* at your church sharing my testimony, answering questions and/or sharing how personal soul care ministry is needed and can be accomplished through churches and individuals. And when given the opportunity, I am also passionate about encouraging women in their walk with the Lord, through speaking at women’s ministry events: teas, luncheons, conferences, retreats, etc.
Please know, this is the ministry’s prayer for you: that “… the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13 NKJV) And, then, PLEASE share this hope with others!
*There is not a set fee for speaking. Covering travel expenses and/or a free will offering or honorarium as the Lord leads, is helpful to the ministry.
BOHM, Inc is a non-profit, non-stock corporation… 501.(c)(3) religious (Christian) organization. I am, however, spiritually accountable to Pastor Dwight Douville, the senior pastor of Calvary Chapel of Appleton WI, my home church.
